200th post! (walking on water, benefits of laughter, emo truck)

I’m so happy that my little blog here is doing so well. Feel a little bit like I am on walking on water here.

Remember, coming to this website is beneficial to your health. See this awesome info-graphic below for proof (benefits of laughter).

Hope you keep on coming back and keep on telling your friends about my site or else I will be sad… like this emo truck:

I love music and I love the internet. Something great that has come from these two things is internet radio. I’ve put a few on my website here. My personal fav is probably See below for direct links:

New Features! Mobile + Archives + Facebook + Slider

Hi everybody! I would like to announce a few new features I’ve implemented on my site.
I’ve created a mobile version of the site for Android, iOS, and Blackberry users. Just visit on your mobile device 🙂 There is switch on the bottom if you want to switch back to the full site.

I have also added a new archives page where you can easily browse through all of my past posts. The archives link is available on the drop down menu of my blog or on the sidebar on the right.

You can now leave comments with your facebook accounts. Currently you can still leave comments without logging in also, but if I get too many spammer comments then I might change that.

I have also added a featured content slider on the homepage. I’ll be updating it regularly with posts I think is important (like this one [for a couple days at least])

Let me know what you think of these new features I hope you enjoy them!

Background scavenger hunt

WOOT! Just finished updating the website background to include tons of memes, video game characters, cartoon characters and many more little easter eggs! Can you find Waldo? What about Darth Vader? You can find WALL-E  next to his girlfriend of course. Many of these are the result of the hard work of Purlin Beam, so I would like to thank him for his awesome pixelians. Whats your favorite? Hope you like the new background 😀

internet memes explained with 198 examples… and growing

A meme is defined as a cultural unit (an idea or value or pattern of behavior) that is passed from one person to another by non-genetic means (as by imitation). Some of the most famous ones might include the star wars kid, charlie bit me, rick roll, etc…

Memes are best described and explained here at

There are two great lists of memes here and here and here.

1000 Awesome things

I just found a great site out there on the internets… 1000 Awesome Things

Launched June, 2008 and updated every weekday, Pasricha brings to light the simple pleasures that are around us every day.

Examples include when you push the button for the elevator and it’s already there, or the other side of the pillow, locking people out of your car and pretending to drive away, figuring out that there is a gas arrow on your car dash letting you know which side of the car your gas-cap is on, and many others…

It is not up to 1000 yet, but every day it gets closer.  Looking forward to when it is done and the book is out.
