Yesss! I actually got here! Please see my reaction on the left. I would not have kept it up if it was not for all my visitors though, so see below for my appreciation to you. I was going to do a best of post here but since I just did that when I reached half a million views, I’ll just redirect you to that page.

Miss me?
Sorry I’ve been so lacking in posts recently! Just moved and pretty busy, etc… the posts will ramp up soon though, I promise! 😀
Last Post of 2010!
I’ll admit, when I first started this blog, I was unsure as to how much traffic I would get and nervous it would not catch on, but I went ahead and went for it.
I wanted to show everybody all my favorite things on the internet.
And the response was pretty great! Traffic to the blog has been steadily increasing, so I’m just going to go ahead and keep it up. You, my visitors make me feel like I can fly!
You guys just keep on doing what you’re doing too. Keep on coming back to visit and (hopefully) sharing this awesome sites with people in your life. If we both keep it up, who knows what heights we can reach?
I hope you have all had a great year in 2010!
Funny Truths… part 2
My previous truths post was so popular, I decided to follow it up with another one 😛
- Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before I get tired.
- Real friends are the ones who survive transitions between address books.
- Sharpening a pencil with a knife makes me feel really manly.
- I never know where to look when eating a banana.
- There’s no panic like the panic I momentarily feel when I’ve got my hand or head stuck in something.
- Everyone had a family member (usually an uncle) who tried to steal their nose.
- Why are they called buildings, when they’re already finished? Shouldn’t they be called builts?
- Dog’s cannot be trusted to watch your food for you.
- Why are they called apartments, when they’re all stuck together?
- Don’t sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.
- Laughing is good exercise.
- After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says W T F
- The best and often embarrassing type of laughter is when you laugh so hard and can not stop till you run out of breath and no noise comes out. Once that happens you just sit there clapping like a retarded seal.
- I don’t mind when other people are right, just as long as it does not make me wrong.
- If you try to fail and you succeed, does this mean you have failed or succeeded?
- Technology is AWESOME… most of the time. When it just refuses to work correctly it cam be the most frustrating thing in existence.
- When. People. Choose. To. Write. Like. This. It. Drives. Me. Crazy.
- Most useful text message: “I’ll be there in 5 minutes. If not, read this again.”
- Have you ever changed a whole text message just because you didn’t know how to spell one word?
- Coolest feeling: half waking up during an awesome dream then falling back asleep to finish it. Sad feeling: not being able to fall back asleep.
- Seeing, talking about, or even reading about yawning will often be enough to make me yawn.
- It sucks when you rehearse something in your head and it sound so awesome but when you go to say it and sound like you have multiple speech impediments.
- When you have gum everybody is your friend.
- The biggest and most frequent lie of my life … I have read and agreed to the terms of use.
Truths
- Nothing sucks more than the moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.
- I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger. Actually made up for it a lot in my later years of education.
- How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? Maybe its just a guy thing though.
- Was learning cursive really necessary? Only time I kinda use it is my signature, but its more “chicken scratch” than signature according to my friends.
- Online maps really need have an option to start their directions at #5… I’m pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
- I can’t remember the last time I was not at least a little tired.
- Bad decisions make good stories (and good photos/videos).
- You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren’t going to do anything productive for the rest of the day. I’ve noticed this becomes progressively earlier at the beginning and end of the work week though.
- Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don’t want to have to restart my collection… again. Hopefully digital will become viably legal though and we can ditch disks all together though!
- I’m always slightly terrified when I exit out of a program and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my document that I swear I did not make any changes to. Sometimes I want to save just in case but then I worry I’ve deleted something perfectly good!
- I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring, but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn’t answer? Drop the phone and run away? Or got so mad that you dared to miss their call they are ignoring you now?
- I hate leaving my house feeling confident and good looking and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
- I keep some people’s phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. Sometimes its fun to come up with creative new names for these callers.
- I think the freezer deserves a light as well (I know that some do now… but my old one did not… poor guy)
- I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would argue that more kisses begin with alcohol than with jewelry.
- I wish Google Maps had an avoid ghetto routing option, otherwise known as the “please don’t shoot me” route.
- Sometimes, I’ll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it. I think I was probably too naive to grasp the more subtle plot elements.
- I would rather try to carry 10 overloaded plastic bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
- The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to do something on my phone (or makeup for girls).
- I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
- How many times is it appropriate to say “what?” before you just nod and smile because you still didn’t hear or understand a word they said? I think 3 is a good choice.
- I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in line at the front. Stay strong people!
- Shirts get dirty, underwear gets dirty. Pants? Not so much. This is why in college my (#underwear)=(#pants)*(20).
- Is it me or do high school kids keep on getting dumber and dumber every year? Also smaller and smaller.
- There is no worse feeling than that millisecond you’re sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
- As a driver I dislike pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I dislike drivers, but in both modes of travel I dislike bicyclists.
- Sometimes I’ll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is (or I guess my smartphone now since I keep on loosing/destroying/forgetting my watches).
- Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and pinning the tail on my donkey. But I’ll bet that almost anybody can find and push their snooze button from 3 feet away in about 2 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time 😛

New Features! Mobile + Archives + Facebook + Slider
Hi everybody! I would like to announce a few new features I’ve implemented on my site.
I’ve created a mobile version of the site for Android, iOS, and Blackberry users. Just visit on your mobile device 🙂 There is switch on the bottom if you want to switch back to the full site.
I have also added a new archives page where you can easily browse through all of my past posts. The archives link is available on the drop down menu of my blog or on the sidebar on the right.
You can now leave comments with your facebook accounts. Currently you can still leave comments without logging in also, but if I get too many spammer comments then I might change that.
I have also added a featured content slider on the homepage. I’ll be updating it regularly with posts I think is important (like this one [for a couple days at least])
Let me know what you think of these new features I hope you enjoy them!
Background scavenger hunt
WOOT! Just finished updating the website background to include tons of memes, video game characters, cartoon characters and many more little easter eggs! Can you find Waldo? What about Darth Vader? You can find WALL-E next to his girlfriend of course. Many of these are the result of the hard work of Purlin Beam, so I would like to thank him for his awesome pixelians. Whats your favorite? Hope you like the new background 😀
The internet please?
As a follow up to my recent post, I thought I would share my favorite story about dealing with the technology impaired. This occurred back when I was working at an ITS helpdesk.
Client: I can not access the internet.
Me: Ok, I can help with that. What have you tried so far?
Client: I clicked on internet explorer and all I see is this MSN crap!
Me: That is the internet.
Client: No this is not! I want the internet.
I was so stumped for a while, but then inspiration struck.
Me: Look at the top of your screen. Do you see where www.msn.com is? Great! Click there and delete that text. Now, type www.google.com and press enter.
Client: Great, thanks so much for your help!
[update] WOO! My story made it on clients from hell: here
Photos 4 fam/friends access
So I have a section of my website titled “Photos 4 fam/friends” where I put photos I want to share with my family and friends. For privacy reasons, I have this password protected. Please use the contact tab to request the password 😀 Hope you are enjoying the site!
Most Popular Internet Activities
My personal top internet time consumers are electronic communication, GOOGLE 🙂 search and everything else, web media (news, video, music).
I am going to try to incorporate as many of these as I can into a personal blog/homepage as I can. Right now on my website I have personal stuff (resume, art, etc..), random blog posts, media (video, fav wallpapers), recipes, and entertainment (games, gadgets). Do you guys have any ideas of things I could incorporate into my site?
